Books

Rooted in the author’s 50+ years of I/T experience, these books offer an optimistic vision of 2129 and beyond, blending human-android interactions, advanced AI, adventure, romance, and intrigue – excitement doesn’t have to be dystopian.

Transport a 20th-century man to the AI-android-driven, gender-role-reversed world of 2129, where secret discoveries like telepathic communication, memory reading, and cyber domes combine to reshape reality. Add beautiful lady spies on a mission to topple China, an ancient practice called Cho, and subtle influence of alien oversight. With plenty of romance, danger, kidnappings, and self-discovery, the adventures lay bare the hero’s values and innermost thoughts. Anchored by his friendships with an android, a President, and six beautiful lady spies, this series delivers a thrilling journey into humanity’s extraordinary future. MEMORY RECALL is the foundation story of friendships and discoveries, setting the table for adventures spanning the globe. The hero is awakened from a 112-year cryogenic sleep to work with the most advanced android ever built. Together they bring compassion to android caregivers (providing care to over 70% of U.S. children) while discovering how to telepathically communicate, access, and display human memories. They use this memory recall to view the hero’s (2) after-death memories with thought-provoking results!

SPY GAMES is a rollercoaster of intrigue, subversion, emotions, and romance as Bill (man) and Griffin (android) covertly use their Memory Recall capabilities on friends and foes alike. The world searches for how Bill and Griffin can mysteriously accomplish all they do. It’s a fun 007 adventure, where the spies are beautiful ladies and men are their targets in 2129. The lady spies all burn hot, so what could go wrong? Bill falls in love and the ending will shock you!

CHAOS IN CHINA finds Bill now working with six beautiful lady spies (Band of Sisters). They set out to bring about a bloodless coup while dodging bullets, knives, and kidnappers. Using five additional super-androids (Neuros), they hack into computer systems to create a global cyber dome (Cricket) capable of preventing war. They’re also exposed to the ancient practice of Cho. Cho Masters can see the future, as given to them by the intelligent energy universe: Cho. Bill falls in love, again, twice. And China dusts off a secret weapon in space getting ready for war!

IMMORTALITY The China crisis is ended in a most unique manner. Bill is near death, after being stabbed in the Bahamas, the 1st victim of a Chinese revolt. The final step of android evolution occurs when Griffin and the Neuro androids integrate human eyes and hearing while discovering a synthetic brain material. This allows the sharing of essence between humans and androids and causes a visitation from the alien Cho universe.

DAWN OF CHANGE covers the 17 years before an alien mentor comes to Earth. Bill and Diana’s two gifted children communicate with Cho and discover there are 5 dimensions, not 3, and begin a new space program using liquid energy. Emily leaves the Presidency and presides over global programs that benefit all nations. The prerequisites for Alien Visitations are completed.

VISITATIONS Earth-named Alpha, from the planet Sigma arrives to mentor Bill and bring incredible advancements. A new global Space Program creates a defacto organization above all nations to deal with interplanetary interactions. Diana has an inoperable brain cancer and their son Billy falls for one of the Band of Sisters. Can aging really be controlled?

DESTINY REVEALED In the explosive seventh and final book of the 2129 SERIES, Bill’s path shifts with the discovery of a second alien mentor who has watched over him since before birth. She provided the unexpected gifts Bill passed to his children and while exploring theories on the afterlife; he encounters a mysterious energy universe of memories (heaven). Bill conducts his first Intervention to a distant planet.

Bill heads the Interplanetary Federation—where his interventions may change other worlds, setting the stage for the INTERVENTION SERIES.

Intervention Series

Books in the Intervention Series take the reader to 2149 and beyond. They follow the characters from the 2129 Series as they assist in the evolution of distant planets. These are short-story (75 pages), Star Trek-type adventures.

It’s helpful to have read the books of the 2129 Series, but not required to enjoy each storyline.

Written For My Children Series

Memoirs in the Written for My Children Series recounts the events and adventures of the author in an environment he hopes his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren never experience. They’re stories of extreme poverty and what it’s like to spend formative years growing up being shuttled between families, never knowing what will come next. They’re stories of sacrifice, abandonment, adventures, and betrayal.

Above all, they’re the stories of escape. How one boy planned and executed his escape from the environment he was born into.

They’re stories of perseverance and determination, where a school and a gym provide sanctuary, comfort, and the tools necessary to make his escape happen. You’ll enjoy the adventures, even if they make you sad from time to time; because they’re told through the eyes of a kid who had to become a young man much too soon. No child should have to endure this life; that’s why it’s Written for my Children.

1959 – END OF CHILDHOOD Set in 1959 Kansas City; eleven-year-old Billy and his two younger brothers are abandoned by his parents and moved from one poor family to another. Billy is mesmerized by the aimless stare, the glow of the cigarette in the dark, and stories agonizingly pulled from WW II Vets. He “reclaims” an outhouse he swore never to use, rode for hours in the bed of a pick-up with his two younger brothers while searching for their mother, enjoyed dumpster-diving for snacks, and lived with a family friend and her seven children whose father was in prison. The stories will leave you saddened and angry, but always with a smile or a chuckle when seen through Billy’s eleven-year-old eyes. What were you doing at eleven?

1960-’63 AWAKENING follows Billy and his two younger brothers when they are sent to live with a middle-class couple in the suburbs of Kansas City. They’re clothed, housed, and fed like all kids should be for the first time. Billy finds acceptance through basketball and adjusting to this new culture quickly. His friends back in the old neighborhood can’t believe what’s happening. He has his first girlfriend (two actually) and defines his dreams of escape from the environment he finds himself in. His trust in his foster parents is complete until he discovers he’s being groomed. His adventures include working on a farm, slow dancing, visiting his grandparents in Rock Island, and the trip of a lifetime turned sour by the betrayal of his guardian. He backs down a bully, enjoys a date with a kissing bandit, and returns to the old neighborhood and life-long friends at NE Jr. High.

1964 – BEST YEAR EVER! finds sixteen-year-old Billy (now Bill) as a sophomore in high school. His family gets their first car after he’s made the varsity basketball team. In April, he double-dates with a friend leading to a love affair that continues today, well over fifty years later. You’ll be taken through the events leading up to the love affair and his discovery of a family that will impact his life forever. This is the love story between Billy and Linda. Sometimes escaping poverty doesn’t involve money.
